Build your village. Watch your back.
Play a standard deck to build farming and mining plots. Your plots fill a pixel-art village on your phone with buildings and villagers. While you're busy with your cards, a rival's thief may be walking into town.
Four suits, two sides of town
Your phone sits in the middle of your space, sideways. Farming plots go on its left and mining plots on its right, and the screen mirrors what's on the table.
♣
Farming plot
Lay it to the left. It produces Lumber and Food.
♥
Farming resource
Attach it to a ♣ plot to complete it.
♠
Mining plot
Lay it to the right. It produces Ore and Gold.
♦
Mining resource
Attach it to a ♠ plot to complete it.
7♥ on 9♣ = 7
A completed plot scores the lower of its two cards.
+3 to one plot. On an empty plot it counts as the resource.
Doubles one plot's score, applied last. One per plot.
A plot that copies your highest plot on its side.
Cards on the table, then the village
- Card phase
Draw to four, play up to three
Build plots, attach resources and face cards, or bury a card in your graveyard. Your village stays live the whole time.
- Final turn
Someone fills up
When a player fills every plot slot or draws the last card, every phone shows "Final turn!" and everyone gets one more go.
- Village phase
Trade and build
Farming scores become Lumber and Food; mining scores become Ore and Gold. Trade at the Market and add buildings that unlock thieves, guards, spies and wizards.
The first village to build the Monument wins on the spot, and it can only go up in winter. Otherwise the most valuable village wins at year's end.
Pick how long your year lasts
One round per season. A quick evening.
Two rounds per season, with room to plan.
One round per month, for a full campaign.
